Ian MacKinnon

Mr Ian MacKinnon

Ian MacKinnon, established in 1985, operates both a fishing and cultivation business on the Scottish West coast and supplies premium quality produce directly to local restaurants or to the live shellfish-export trade. The business is handling an increasing range of species including lobster, prawn, brown crab, velvet crab and mussels and has plans to expand the cultivation side of the business to include oysters, scallops and sea urchins. The fishing side of the business is based on the daily operation of over 500 creels and the cultivation of around 30 tons of mussels annually.
